Lipolysis injection therapy involves the introduction of medicines into targeted areas of the body to dissolve fat. This treatment is often used to combat double chins, stubborn belly fat, thighs, buttocks, bra bulge, back of arms, cellulite… and more.
As we age, many of us naturally accumulate more fat around the neck, face, abdomen, arms, buttocks, thighs and other areas of the body where we’d typically like to keep fat levels lower. Some people may be genetically predisposed to carrying excess fat in those areas. Lipolysis injection therapy is a safe and proven method of reducing fat in targeted areas, for an overall slimmer look over time.
The key ingredients behind ViveWell Health’s injection lipolysis cause unwanted fat cells to dissolve, leading to reabsorption and recycling of the tissue. A slimmer neck, face, stomach, stomach, thighs, etc, results in the weeks following the procedure.
Lipolysis injection therapy is minimally-invasive and leaves no lasting scars or marks.
Injection Lipolysis is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction, most often recommended for those under 60 y/o, with well to decently toned skin thickness.
It’s important to remember that these treatment options are meant to sculpt your body, along with a healthy lifestyle with attention to a nutrient-rich diet and regular exercise. Our team will help you create a plan with your overall health and goals in mind.
The exact number of injections per area and repeat sessions are determined by your body, its contours and your desired outcome. Often times, patients choose to address several treatment areas in one session.
For many of us, weight gain in less-than-ideal areas of the body is a natural consequence of aging, shifting metabolism, medications, genetics, and other factors. However, excess fat in the chin, neck and body are not something you simply need to tolerate. Lipolysis injection therapy offers a non-surgical and minimally-invasive way to sculpt your figure in key areas so your body looks more slender… the way you want it!

The length of your procedure and number of injections will vary depending on your body type and personal situation. Smaller areas, like targeting a “double chin”, may take notably less time than a treatment targeting the stomach and thighs, etc. You’ll know more about what to expect after the consultation with a ViveWell expert.
Side effects of lipolysis injections include temporary inflammation/swelling of the targeted areas, pain or discomfort at the injection site and/or in the target areas (including but not limited to: bruising, redness, other skin irritation symptoms), and other, less common side effects on a per-person basis. Inflammation is a necessary component of the process that the injections dissolve the fat cells in your targeted areas. In other words, inflammation is a sign the treatment is working. It typically subsides on its own in the first week following your procedure.
The exact number of treatments will vary depending on your initial body conditions and your overall goals. Some patients may achieve their desired results within two or three appointments. Whereas others may need as many as five or six injection sessions. Higher volumes of fat in target areas may increase the number of appointments needed.
Expect to visit ViveWell Health for a lipolysis injection appointment every four to six weeks, on average. You will receive a more accurate and personalized appointment frequency estimate after your consultation.
The fat dissolving effects begin right after the procedure and reach peak effectiveness near 5 or 6 weeks, on average. However, some patients continue to experience ongoing improvement afterwards, and with repeated treatment sessions. Your provider will prescribe additional visits as needed until you are happy with your results. Though, we reserve the right to recommend cessation of, or withhold treatment, in some cases of medical necessity, and/or if other health conditions must be adequately addressed before continuing.
